Chat id Not found error , while using Evilginx Monitor / modified source

If you’re experiencing an issue with

the Evilginx monitor (GitHub - fluxxset/Evilginx_monitor: send Captured Evilginx sessions to Telegram , Mail and Discord)

or a modified version (GitHub - fluxxset/evilginx2: Modified Version of Evilginx ( Telegram Notifications )),

you might encounter the error “chatid not found”. Although your Telegram token and chatif may be correct, this error can occur because you haven’t enabled the Telegram bot yet.

To enable the Telegram bot, follow these steps:

  1. Access the BotFather on Telegram by searching for it in the search bar or using this direct link: Telegram: Contact @BotFather
  2. Interact with BotFather by typing ‘/newbot’ and follow the instructions to create a new bot.
  3. Once your bot is created, select it and click on its name.
  4. You will then see a ‘Start’ button. Click on it, and you should now be good to go!
