I captured fresh Microsoft login cookies (esctx, buid, fpc, etc.) using Evilginx2. When I import them with Cookie‑Editor (or other extensions) in Firefox/Chrome, the import succeeds, but after refreshing https://login.microsoftonline.com, I’m still on the login page instead of being logged in.
I’ve tried:
· Fresh captures (multiple times)
· Different browsers (Firefox, Chrome) + private mode
· Different extensions (Cookie‑Editor, StorageAce, Cookie Quick Manager)
· Manual addition via Developer Tools (cookies appear in the Storage tab with correct flags)
· Python script confirms the cookies are valid (the script returns a logged-in state)
Still, the browser login page persists.
This only happens with this specific setup; others using the same tools don’t seem to have this problem. I suspect modern browser restrictions (Secure flag, SameSite=None, Enhanced Tracking Protection) are interfering, even though the cookies seem correctly set.
Any ideas on a reliable way to import these cookies so the browser accepts them? I need a solution that works without requiring users to touch the developer console.
Thanks in advance.
